The #1 Health Tip I give my clients….

99% of bacteria are "good bacteria", including the ones living in and on us. Different strains of bacteria feed on different things so a less diverse diet means a less diverse microbiome, which is not ideal. Diversity protects us from the effects of poor diet and lifestyle choices. If we are not eating the right foods, and diversifying our fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains and lean protein, then probiotics will help us supplement. We need to consider the impact that our daily choices have on our whole selves and probiotics are a smart choice. Part of my job as a health coach is to do the research for my clients of finding the most reputable brands and supplement companies, which is how I found Seed. Seed is a Synbiotic, which means it’s compromised of both Probiotics and Prebiotics. In order for Probiotics to claim a health benefit, each specific strain of bacteria must be clinically studied. Not all are created equal and each must prove their benefit through rigorous trials in humans. Seed does rigorous strain specific clinical trials on humans that allow them to have benefit claims for each strain. They monitor purity with over 50 quality assurance and quality control checkpoints throughout the production cycle and extensively test each ingredient as well as each batch after manufacture. As discussed last post, this is extremely important so that we as consumers are getting what we pay for! The supplement industry is unregulated so false claims on probiotics are extremely common. With Seed, I know exactly what my body is getting.

Seed’s Proven Benefits include:

  • synthesizing vitamins & minerals and improving their absorption, which enables the body to produce enzymes, hormones & other substances essential for proper growth and development

  • supporting gastrointestinal function & digestive health, which means less bloating, cramping and easier to pass bowel movements

  • promoting gut barrier integrity, which means allowing inn necessary nutrients but protecting the gut from bacterial toxins & pathogens

  • heart & cardiovascular health

  • gut immune function

  • dermatological health

Seed’s daily Synbiotic consists of Probiotics + Prebiotics, which are delivered together in nested capsules that protect against stomach acid & ensure they make it through the harsh digestive system to the colon.

The inner capsule of a Seed Synbiotic contains 24 Probiotic strains which all have proven benefits specific to that strain, and the outer capsule contains Prebiotics. When certain beneficial strains of bacteria interact with select prebiotic compounds they are transformed into powerful short chain fatty acids. These are the primary source of energy for the cells lining your colon. Short Chain fatty acids are critical to gut health, and one of the most important is called butyrate. Butyrate strengthens the lining of the intestines, and a stronger intestinal barrier means better absorption of nutrients. As a result, both Probiotics and Prebiotics are essential for systemic health.

I have been taking Seed for over a year now & it has helped my health & body in so many ways. Try it out for yourself using the link below & my code!
