Air Fryer Chicken Tenders
These Air fryer chicken tenders are a healthy, gluten-free version of the classic chicken strips you can get at any restaurant or sporting event! They’re perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle and require only a few simple ingredients and just 12 minutes to cook!
Ingredients:
1 pound Pasture Raised Chicken tenders - I love Good Ranchers!
1 Pasture Raised Organic egg, beaten
2 cups Italian flavored Nut Crumbs
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray
Directions:
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees. Pat the chicken tenders dry and set aside. Prepare a baking sheet to fit your air fryer with unbleached parchment paper, or spray your air fryer basket with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Put the 2 cups Nut Crumbs in a shallow bowl. Beat the egg in a separate shallow bowl, then dip each thin sliced tender in the egg mixture, then the nut crumb mixture. Place each tender on the baking sheet or directly in the basket. Spray the top of the chicken tenders in the basket lightly with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and then set the timer for 12 minutes. Flip after 6 minutes and spray the other side lightly with the oil. Serve with Primal Kitchen Ketchup and Homemade Sweet Potato Fries :)
